For ones forced to go to the pediatric hospital Santobono, the hospital itself is located only 250 mt away from Casa Valeria.

In few minutes, it Is possible to reach the hospital area of Naples by metro L1 or the cable railway, including: Policlinico I and II, Cardarelli, Monaldi and Pellegrini.

Using the L1 Metro you can reach the Molo Beverello: the harbor to reach all the Flegree Islands like Capri, Ischia and the little “pearl” Procida.

Vomero neighborhood

Vomero is one of the nice and exclusive neighborhood in Naples. Once ago, it was a green hill where rich Neapolitans had country houses and cultivated lands.

Today, there are numerous buildings in Vomero. However, you can still admire a lot of delicious Art Nouveau mansions and some Villa.

The “green lung” in Vomero is Villa Floridiana, a wonderful park within which the National Museum of Ceramics is located. Other places of interest are the Sant’Elmo Castle, where various events take place, and the Certosa of Saint Martin placed on the highest part of the hill where the famous Nativity figures Museum arises. Vomero is also a place to have shopping activities in the pedestrian area of Via Scarlatti or Via Luca Giordano, with its main Piazza Vanvitelli, plaza of shows, fashion parades and concerts. You can reach Vomero using the new hill metro and the 3 cable railways.

How to reach us

By car:

Using the A1 or A3 highway, once you are in Naples, take the Freeway (Tangenziale) and use the N.6 Arenella exit. Follow the directions to Piazza Medaglie d’ Oro, exit the Piazza Medaglie d’Oro towards Via Mario Fiore and, at the next round of Piazza Fanzago (known as Piazza Bernini), take the third exit for Viale Michelangelo. 50 mt on the right, there is the street number 48 where Casa Valeria is located.

By airplane:

Naples International Airport: Capodichino is 10 km away from Casa Valeria. You can reach us by taxi, bus service (Alibus) who stops you in piazza Municipio or Piazza Garibaldi where, by cable railway or Metro L1 to Piscinola, you can arrive in few minutes in Piazza Vanvitelli. From this latter point, walking down  5 minutes through Piazza Bernini, you will be at the destination.

By train:

Once you are at Napoli Centrale Station, you have direct access (without exiting the station) to metro L1 to Piscinola. In few minutes, you can reach Piazza Vanvitelli. From this latter point, walking down  5 minutes through Piazza Bernini, you will be at the destination.
